Ashley Wood, M.A.,CCC-SLP, PC
Ashley is originally from Carrollton, Texas. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She continued her graduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin, where she received the degree of Master of Arts.
Ashley has specialized training for all levels of PROMPT and is a PROMPT Certified (PC) clinician. She also has Certification in the Hanen Parent Training program, is a certified Interactive Metronome (IM) clinician, has completed the MNRI Tactile Integration course, is an approved Integrated Listening Systems (iLS) provider, and has completed the Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention program for feeding/swallowing disorders. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-language Hearing Association and is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
Her areas of expertise include the pediatric population with motor-speech disorders, oral motor/sensory feeding disorders, fluency disorders (stuttering), receptive-expressive language disorders, voice disorders, social-pragmatic language disorders, and auditory processing disorders.
