Martha was the original founder of MLee. She spent years traveling around the world teaching PROMPT. She was involved in the mentoring program with the PROMPT Institute. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA and is licensed in Texas. She has specialized training and Certifications for all levels of PROMPT, Specialty Training in Infant and Toddler Family Centered Intervention and Certification in the Hanen Parent Training program and the Interactive Metronome.
Aside from PROMPT, she has done extensive post graduate work and training in the areas of autism/PDD, feeding, swallowing, sensory integration and Therapeutic Listening. Her areas of expertise include: infants, toddlers and preschoolers with neuro-sensory-motor-speech disorders; feeding disorders (aversions and sensory), and neurological impairments. She has developed programs and trained others in treatments involving symbolic play and feeding. Her treatments include an interdisciplinary approach with sensory integration and communication-language intervention. Martha is certified Interactive Metronome clinician, as well as an approved iLS (Integrated Listening System) provider. Martha retired from practice in 2013.
