About Me

I am originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, but after graduating from UNC 6 years ago, I moved to Austin to start my career in speech.  I grew up with a younger brother who had special needs, and was inspired by his speech therapists and the impact they had on my brother’s ability to  communicate. Outside of my professional interests, I enjoy trying new restaurants and recipes, volunteering, playing/watching sports, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
