About Me

I am originally from Long Beach, CA. After living in Salt Lake City, UT, I made my move to the great city of Austin, TX as soon as possible!!! I am a graduate of Salt Lake Community College, receiving an Associate’s of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy. I have worked in a variety of settings including teaching dance to children with various disabilities as well as introducing students in the public schools to the art of dance. Since moving to Austin, I have been working primarily with the pediatric population, providing Occupational Therapy to children with ASD, Sensory Processing Disorder, ADHD/ADD, and anxiety. In my spare time, I love going hiking with my dogs, Cooper & Pluto, cooking, yoga, and aerial silks!

Work History

Pediatric Occupational Therapy

Lauren’s clinical experience includes working with Sensory Integration/Processing Disorder, motor planning difficulties, fine and gross motor delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, handwriting difficulties, anxiety, ADHD/ADD, and sensory feeding difficulties.

Lauren is a Nationally Board Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She has been formally in the MNRI method, Learning Without Tears, feeding therapy, and Trust-Based Relationship Intervention.
