About Me

Vicki and her husband, Dave, have lived and raised their family in the Westlake community for 26 years. While Vicki was born and raised in Illinois, she has lived almost half of her life in Texas and considers herself a Texan at heart!! Some of her Texas favorites include eating BBQ, watching sunsets, and a good enchilada with verde sauce!

Work History

Pediatric Speech-Language Therapy

Vicki has over 30 years experience as an SLP, serving children with communication disorders and their families’ from early childhood through high school. In addition to working in private practice and public school settings, her experience also includes pediatric rehabilitation for the “Star Bright” working with children who suffered traumatic head injuries, developmental delays, learning disabilities, genetic disorders, cerebral palsy, and Autism.

Vicki’s passion for the field of Speech-Language Pathology is rooted in her belief that every child has the right to be educated in an evnronment which respects their indiviual differences, fosters their self esteem, as well as motivates them to achieve their greatest potential. IN both educatoinal and clinical setting, she has provided both diagnostic evaluations and treatment services which aid in individualizing each child’s needs, focusing on their strengths. In addition to the great work Vicki provides, one of her greatest joys is working with families and other educational professionals to help children and young adults flourish.

Professional Growth

Vicki is a certified iLS (Integrated Listening Systems) provider, hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas. Vicki recently completed the PROMPT Introduction to Technique training.
